Welcome to the first workout in the 2025 Summer Rowing Challenge! I hope you're excited to get into your best rowing shape over the course of the next 8 weeks!
Our first workout is an assessment to check our baseline fitness and rowing ability! This will give us a tangible starting point to compare to throughout the challenge - because we don't know how far we can progress if we don't know where we begin! All you have to do is follow along with me and try to row as far as you can by the end of the 20 minutes!
WORKOUT:
10 mins @ 16 SPM
5 mins @ 20 SPM
5 mins @ 24 SPM
GOAL:
Row as hard and as far as you can within each stroke rate parameter!
